BrewerNation Podcast Featuring Joe Hamrahi, Jason Parks

Here it is!

On the eve of the Baseball Prospectus event at Miller Park, I had the opportunity to sit down with two stalwarts at Baseball Prospectus, Joe L. Hamrahi (which will make sense when you listen) and Jason Parks, he of much knowledge and acumen.

We cover a bit about Baseball Prospectus as a company, what its writers have been able to accomplish in the business of baseball, and the vision Hamrahi continues to have for BP. We discuss the state of the Brewers farm system in the opinion of Parks, including guys he undersold, as well as who he likes and who Brewers fans need to know. We also touch on the upcoming first round of the MLB Draft and who Parks thinks could make sense for Milwaukee at #12, including whether Jeff Hoffman makes any sense.

And I couldn’t have two passionate baseball men on the mic and not ask them their opinions about the state of the game (Is baseball “dying” like many claim?) and their positions on PEDs in the game and why some people seem to care so much when others don’t.

So please give this a listen. You’ll definitely enjoy the information…probably almost as much as I enjoyed the conversation.

Recorded on Thursday, May 8th in lovely Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

You can follow Jason Parks (@ProfessorParks) & Joe Hamrahi (@jhamrahi) on Twitter as well as Baseball Prospectus as a company (@BaseballPro) for links to all of their first rate information and analysis.
