BREWERS ANNOUNCE 2015 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE
Jam-Packed Schedule includes Postgame Concert Series and 20 All-Fan Giveaways
The Milwaukee Brewers today announced the team’s promotional schedule for the 2015 season. The new Brewers Postgame Concert Series presented by Miller Lite and a record setting 20 All-Fan Giveaways highlight the jam-packed schedule, making Miller Park the place to be throughout the spring and summer of 2015.
The Brewers have scheduled 10 Bobbleheads, two gnomes, and one “Fan Vote” item over the course of the season among the All-Fan Giveaways. In addition, all fans will receive a unique Brewers T-shirt at every Friday home game during the months of June, July and August. The T-shirt designs were chosen as part of an online vote and were revealed on stage at Brewers On Deck. On Opening Day – Monday, April 6 vs. the Colorado Rockies – all fans in attendance will receive a Brewers magnetic schedule.
Spring Madness 414 returns to Miller Park on Friday, April 10 through Sunday, April 12, when the team takes on the division rival Pittsburgh Pirates for a three-game series. For this one special weekend, fans can not only save 50% on designated tickets, the team will also honor Milwaukee’s area code with some of the most popular concession items priced at $1 and $4 for the second consecutive year.
The 7th Annual Weather Day at Miller Park will take place on Thursday, April 23. On this day, the Brewers team up with Discovery World, the Mitchell Park Domes, the Milwaukee Public Museum, Ready Wisconsin and Storm Team 4 meteorologists from TMJ4 for a day of learning, baseball and fun. Students will enjoy a special lesson about the science of weather from the Storm Team 4 Meteorologists, complete with a visit from Bernie Brewer™ and the Klement’s Famous Racing Sausages – all before watching the Brewers take on the Cincinnati Reds at 12:40 p.m.
The 5-County, 5-Day Celebration will take place from May 4-8. To say thank you to the best fans in baseball, the Brewers are offering residents of Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington and Waukesha Counties 50% off select Brewers tickets to games versus the Dodgers and Cubs.
The first 10,000 fans 21 and older in attendance of the Brewers May 9 game against the Chicago Cubs will receive a Brewers Fan Flag courtesy of Miller Lite.
Come celebrate Mother’s Day with the Brewers when the team hosts the Chicago Cubs in the series finale on Sunday, May 10. All fans in attendance will receive a Hank, “The Ballpark Pup,” Bobblehead courtesy of Pick ‘n Save.
Joe Nichols kicks off the inaugural Brewers Postgame Concert Series presented by Miller Lite with a show that will rock the stadium after the game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on May 29. For over 15 years, Grammy-nominated artist Nichols has been one of country music’s brightest stars. Come join the fun as Nichols performs hits from his eight studio albums that include singles Brokenheartsville, Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off and Gimmie That Girl.
The Brewers Postgame Concert Series presented by Miller Lite continues when rockers O.A.R. take the stage after the Brewers game against the Washington Nationals on June 13. The platinum-selling band recently released their eighth studio album, The Rockville LP, which features some of the band’s most diverse, intricate songs to date, including the smash-hit Peace. They are best known for their hit singles Hey Girl, Love and Memories, Crazy Game of Poker and Shattered (Turn the Car Around).
The Brewers will honor former player and long-time broadcaster Bill Schroeder when they induct him into the team’s Wall of Honor in a pre-game ceremony before the contest against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday, July 17. Schroeder becomes the 59th member of the “Wall of Honor,” the permanent display that honors Brewers legends located outside of Miller Park on the North side of the stadium.
The 17th Annual Brewers Community Foundation 5K Famous Racing SausagesTM Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, starting at 8 a.m. at the Klement’s Sausage Haus at Miller Park. All proceeds of the Run/Walk will support the programs of Brewers Community Foundation. For the registration fee, participants receive a commemorative T-shirt, a Terrace Reserved ticket voucher good for one of 10 Brewers 2015 home games, a bottle of Aquafina water, a Klement’s hot dog and a beer for participants 21 and older. The overall top male finisher and the overall top female finisher also receive a year’s worth of Klement’s meat products.
On Saturday, July 18, the Brewers will honor African-American heritage in baseball as they host the Pittsburgh Pirates in their annual Negro Leagues Tribute Game.
The team will celebrate Latin American culture with their annual Cerveceros Day, which is set for Saturday, August 8 vs. the St. Louis Cardinals.
Fans in attendance of the August 15 game against the Philadelphia Phillies will see the final event of the Brewers Postgame Concert Series presented by Miller Lite. Buffalo, New York natives the Goo Goo Dolls will play after the game and perform songs from their 20 plus year catalog, including hits such as Iris, Name, Slide, Black Balloon, Here Is Gone, Stay With You, Let Love In and Better Days.
Global superstars One Direction will take their highly anticipated On the Road Again 2015 stadium tour to Miller Park on August 25. With a staggering 94 number ones and over 46 million records sold in just four short years, One Direction have gone from energetic pop upstarts to international superstars. The band’s song writing becomes more personal with each record, and the record Four is set to be their most stunning yet. The fourth annual Brewers Mini-Marathon and 10K, Presented by Sendik’s is set for Saturday, September 26, 2015. Registration is available online at brewersmini.com. All participants receive a free Brewers ticket voucher good for select games at Miller Park in April or May of 2016, a participant medal and a “tech” shirt. A post-race party at Miller Park with live music will also take place. Prizes for the top finishers will be awarded.
In addition, several fan favorite season-long promotions will return in 2015. Once again, Autograph Saturdays for Kids presented by U.S. Bank® return to the home of the Brewers. Prior to five Saturday Brewers home games during the 2015 season (April 11, May 9, June 13, July 18 and August 1), fans 14 and under can receive autographs from select Brewers players and coaches.
The Brewers are excited once again to continue Kids and Senior Citizens Discount Days. Every weekday afternoon home game (excluding Opening Day, Bernie’s Terrace, Uecker Seats and All-Inclusive Areas) kids 14 and under and seniors 60+ save up to 50% on tickets.
Every Monday home game, fans can participate in Miller High Life Mondays. Terrace Reserved tickets are just $9, courtesy of Miller High Life.
Every Friday home game the Brewers will celebrate Student Nights. High school and college students can purchase $10 Terrace Reserved and $15 Loge Bleachers tickets. Student Night ticket buyers will also be able to purchase specially priced items at certain concession stands starting when Miller Park gates open up to first pitch. Every Friday home game at Miller Park this season will be Retro Friday. The team will don Brewers home throwbacks, featuring the Ball and Glove logo which was worn regularly by the team from 1978-1993.
Kids will once again be able to get the thrill of being in the game when the Prairie Farms Dairy Kids Base Run returns after Sunday home games for kids 16 and under.
Beginning on May 10th, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Family Sundays at Helfaer Field returns. Prior to each Sunday game, Helfaer Field opens for fans to play catch in the outfield and take pictures with Bernie Brewer and the Famous Racing Sausages™. In addition, Children’s Hospital offers fun opportunities to learn about injury prevention, sports safety, heart health and more.
Youth players will want to be in attendance for the popular Little League Night on Tuesday, June 16 as the Brewers take on the Kansas City Royals. All Little Leaguers in uniform (registered in advance through local youth leagues) will have the opportunity to parade around the warning track in a pre-game ceremony. Other popular dates at Miller Park include Boy Scout Night (August 3 vs. San Diego), Girl Scout Night (July 31 vs. Chicago-NL) and American Legion Day (August 9 vs. St. Louis).
