So there’s this one former Brewer who is coming to town this weekend with the team he manages. Ring any bells? His number is retired by the team and adorns the Miller Park roof track façade. He’s a member of baseball’s Hall of Fame.
Need another hint? Okay, how about a visual instead.
Look familiar? How about a personally signed photo of in-game action that looks sneakingly similar to that which they must have based the Brewers based the upcoming Molitor bobblehead?
Molitor’s hustle is well-documented and now you have a chance to own this autographed photo, signed in person by Paul Molitor himself during his public appearance at Legends of the Field’s store in Delafield back in January of this year.
In order to qualify to win it, make sure you go RT this tweet…

From my partner Legends of the Field (look to the right for their logo which links to their website), here are the autographed photos I’m giving away.
I have two prints of each player to give away, so there will be four winners on each platform (and no, I won’t let you win twice but you can certainly enter on both), so your odds of winning are pretty good.
For an extra entry, leave a comment on the blog with your social media username. You need a free account to do that, but taking the time shows you care.
Oh, and if you don’t win, go to their website, find something you want to buy, use my code at checkout and save 15%! The code: BREWERNATION15
We gave away four autographed photos in our last contest featuring Jean Segura, Yovani Gallardo, and Scooter Gennett.
Next week Monday, my sponsor and I will be giving away the three autographed baseballs pictured below.
This is a social media contest, and as such there are two ways to enter. You must be following both Legends of the Field and the Brewer Nation on Twitter (respectively: @lotfautographs & @BrewerNation) and/or like both of our pages on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/legendsofthefield & http://www.facebook.com/BrewerNation)
Note: There will be one ball guaranteed to go to a Twitter entrant and one ball guaranteed to go to a Facebook entrant. If you want a chance at all three baseballs, you must enter the contest on both platforms.
Then, once you’re in…
Find this tweet and retweet it:

That’s it! We’ll select the winners at random on Monday, March 31st…just in time for OPENING DAY!!!
What better way to commemorate the start of a new season than with a new addition to your autograph collection from your trusted source of Brewers memorabilia, Legends of the Field?
Good luck and GO BREWERS!!
I tweeted this a couple of days ago…
Also, the first fruits of my partnership with @lotfautographs will be announced on Friday evening. Stay tuned for that, Brewer Nation!

And here are the details and instructions on how to participate (and possibly win!).
- Be following me (like you probably already do) on Twitter: @BrewerNation
- Be following Legends of the Field (like you should be) on Twitter: @lotfautographs
If you already follow both of us, you’re already entered! Otherwise, accomplish both of those goals by 11:59pm CST on Friday, March 7, 2014 and you’re entered to win. It really is that simple. You’ll be entered to win one of four signed 8×10 photos.
However, what you can also do though is tweet both me and Legends of the Field if you’d like to be considered specifically for one photo over another.
So what are the photos, you ask? Allow me to offer Exhibits A, B, C, D. (I digitally added “smudges” to the computer image so as to discourage downloads/printing. Believe me that the actual photos are beautiful and the signatures are crisp!) If you choose to enter yourself in the drawing for a specific photo, just tweet both of us the letter of the photo you’d like to be entered to win.
We (the Legends of the Field manager and I) will choose the four random winners on Saturday, March 8, 2014 and will announce them publicly here on the blog after we contact you via Twitter direct message. (You must be 18 to win, but if you get selected when we contact you for details on how to ship you your photo, we can deal with a parent or legal guardian.)
A: Jean Segura (white)
B: Scooter Gennett
C: Yovani Gallardo
D: Jean Segura (gold)
I realize that anyone can see this post, including in my Facebook and Google+ communities as well as the general internet. This is a “Twitter Only” contest to kick things off. There will be other community-specific contests down the road, but if you want in this time and you don’t have a Twitter account……well, make one and follow us!
Also, keep your eyes open mid-next week for a special opportunity related to this contest.
Thanks for reading, and good luck!
(You can leave any questions in the comments.)
Many of you know that I spend some of my time as a Brewers “Insider” for sports talk radio stations The Big 920 and The Big 1070 in Milwaukee and Madison respectively. I work directly with The Mike Heller Show. (They are the same guys who have guest hosted the nationally syndicated Dan Patrick Show multiple times over the last four months.)
I will be working with Legends of the Field to bring my readers some exclusive opportunites for autographed Brewers memoribilia via giveaways, special access to Legends of the Field player appearances and signings, periodic discounts for merchandise with a special discount code, and more!
For more information about Legends of the Field, click to visit their website and read about their history, their new owner Jim Lindenberg, and how they have three physical locations around southeastern Wisconsin which the website marketplace supplements.
More details will be available about individual events and contests as they come up, but we’re planning on a couple of things early on to get this relationship kicked off in a good way.
The best part? All you have to do to be included is follow the directions as they come up. There will be specific instructions and information included with each forthcoming opportunity.
I was in their Delafield store yesterday evening, for example, and believe me when I tell you that their merchandise is top of the line. They have exclusive signing contracts with some of the Brewers players which means that you can’t get their autographs from any other company and no other company can bring that player in for a signing event.
And speaking of those signings? For each individual signing that Legends of the Field hosts this season, one Brewer Nation reader will win a free autograph! All you have to do is show up!
That’s just the tip of the iceberg, Brewer Nation. But in the meantime, be sure that you look to Legends of the Field for authentic, certified Brewers autographs at great prices.
